We, Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH (MMG), have a long foundry tradition at our current company location in Waren (Müritz). The production of large and special castings made of copper alloys, in particular ship propellers, has characterised our company for more than 75 years. Thanks to our modern production process and our trained personnel, our quality far exceeds the standards of the classification societies. MMG sets standards in design, quality and efficiency for propellers in ship newbuilding and retrofit. With our refit programme, we have already equipped over 550 ships with more efficient propellers. A retrofit of the ship's propeller in line with the changed application profile increases efficiency and significantly reduces fuel consumption. Our product range is constantly evolving. In addition to sand and centrifugal casting, additive manufacturing with an automated welding robot and an XXL printer has been added.
